At Just Simple Hosting, keeping your services and personal data secure is our top priority. We are excited to announce a new security feature now active across all client accounts: Instant Login Notifications.
Beginning today, whenever a user logs into your account portal, we’ll automatically send an email alert directly to your registered email address with the key connection details.
Every notification email provides a quick summary of the login activity:
Time & Date: Exact timestamp of when access occurred.
IP Address: The network address used during the login.
Device & Browser: The operating system and browser used (e.g., Google Chrome on macOS).
This allows you to quickly verify that it was actually you or an authorized team member accessing your account.
We designed these alerts to be extremely fast and lightweight ensuring notifications arrive in your inbox almost instantaneously without slowing down your login experience.
Furthermore, all connection verification is processed locally within our infrastructure. No account data or IP addresses are passed to external third-party tracking services.
While we strongly recommend keeping these alerts active for maximum account security, we believe in giving you full control over your preferences:
Always Active by Default: You don't need to do anything to turn this feature on your account is already protected.
Opting Out: If you prefer not to receive these notifications, simply log into your client portal, navigate to Account Details / Profile Settings, and check the box labeled "Disable Login Notifications."
If you receive a notification for a login you didn't initiate:
Change Your Password Immediately: Go to the client portal and trigger a password reset right away.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Head over to your Account Security Settings to set up 2FA for an extra layer of protection.
Contact Support: Reach out to our team if you suspect unauthorized activity so we can assist in securing your account.
